Color grading without borders
It's not just about saving time, it's about making every moment count. A high-definition, low-compression livestream lets collaborators hop into a session for 5 minutes, or 5 hours, give feedback, and videochat. Whether workshopping ideas, feedbacking on WIPs, or presenting to clients for final approval, a remote based workflow allows for ultimate flexibility and collaboration.
And for bulk approvals or late night feedback sessions, Frame.io lets collaborators work at their own pace and take the time to make their inputs clear. It's also perfect as a compliment for tv shows and bigger commercial campaigns.

How it actually works
Footage and relevant files are uploaded via provided link to our server at least a day before the grade. During the session, the livestream is open for anyone with the link to join, and generally the day is divided into an early check-in to discuss ideas and get some frames looking good, then a main round of feedback after lunch, and finally the last thumbs up around the end of day. Pretty much like a regular grade session.

The majority of a grade is sitting and watching a colorist do sensitive and tedious work, so the ability to hop in and out of a grade during any given session remotely allows collaborators to be present for the important moments, and maximise their time during the day.
